Take your family or someone special out on a Thursday night from 7 PM to 9 PM for a live show. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket to this free and public event.  July 31, 2014 Rhythm Rockets will be performing vintage rhythm and blues influenced by saxophone driven bands from the 1940’s and 1950’s. August 7, 2014 Generation will be taking “The Sixties Show Experience” on a musical soundtrack.  In case of train, the show will be relocated to the Sullivan Center at 635 North Aspen Drive.50 Lakeview Parkway

Lake County Forest Preserve

Spend a day outside in the beautiful preserve exploring the natural landscape. There are variety of activities to do from hiking, biking to swimming, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, or canoeing. End the day by watching the sunset in the park. The entrance and parking area are located on Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) at the light for Woodlands Parkway, south of Route 60 (Townline Road) and just north of Route 22 (Half Day Road).
